Neo is easy to use, lightweight and affordable. Designed to provide a wide range of computing capability on its own, and to integrate effortlessly with desktop and laptop computers.

Students can take this lightweight and rugged tool anywhere - school, home, or even on field trips - to write stories, brainstorm, take notes and more.

Neo offers a full sized keyboard and an extraordinary battery life, but adds a 50% larger display and twice as much memory. The large display can be used to view extra lines of text, or show the text in a larger size, making it easier to see.

Neo includes AlphaWord Plus, a feature-rich word processor with spell check, thesaurus, word and paragraph counts, Spanish-English word look-up, instant access to eight file spaces, plus named files, and more. You can also add new functions through SmartApplets, such as keyboarding instruction.

Neo includes: three AA batteries or a rechargeable battery pack; USB cable; IrDA port for printing or sending to IrDA devices; AlphaSmart Manager software; AlphaWord Plus and Calculator SmartApplets. The Neo Rechargeable also includes an AC adaptor.

Compatible with Windows and Macintosh computers and many USB and IrDA-enabled printers.
